An open-brief and invitation to help our local communities flourish, connect and grow better together during these troubled times. Grey New Life’s mission is to build better relationships by addressing our social and mental health challenges – helping us all find some calm, self-reflection, resilience and connection within work, home and community life.

The timing and importance of the project is at a critical juncture for mental health. The world may be easing lockdowns slowly, but a global pause has pointed out the many flaws of how we function as cities, nations and within the global marketplace. Wellness, particularly mental health issues have reached pandemic levels and there is no doubt that community will shape the future of wellness moving forward.

A broad mission required an intensive research deep-dive before articulating the end-goal. Appreciation, care and empathy was given to understand the context and external factors before thinking too far ahead, ensuring every step is addressing the foundational core objectives.
